Hello From India!!

Hi everybody!

I am coming to you today from Bangalore, India. I am here for an internship. I have to say, the food here is amazing! Everywhere you go, there are places to eat. Back in the states, I was never really exposed to Indian cuisine. I have yet to come away from a meal with my mouth not feeling like its on fire! The restaurants I have been to so far in the one day I've been here have been very interesting. The place I went to for lunch yesterday which was tucked a way in the back corner of the local mall, was an colonial railways themed restaurant with fare that would have been served to colonists and upper class Indians back in colonial India. In the restaurant its self, I found myself dining in an antique train car adorned with lavish wood carved wall paneling and crystal glass ornamentation. So far, India has been an eye opening culinary experience for me, and I will keep you all informed of what I am eating here on the other side of the world.

I must also add that I had a layover in London Heathrow on my way to Bangalore where I was able to grab a quick snack at one of Chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, which was very good, but I would expect nothing less from such a taskmaster.
